In addition to a place to relax and network, we are also offering two exciting programs - The Digital Dish and a Children's and Teens specific session titled, CATS Out of the Bag (a Lunch and Learn!)

CATS Out of the Bag: Lunch and Learn - January 20th, 10:30 - 12pm
Join Children's and Teen Services team for a complimentary lunch and a talk on book titles from Baker & Taylor’s summer reading prize program, and discover the latest resources to help you educate, empower, and engage with your community. We have some other exciting things planned such as Blind Date with a Book and an author signing with Dave Unger, for a not-to-miss hour!
David Unger will sign copies of his new book José Feeds the World . Born in Guatemala and living in New York since his childhood, David Unger received his country’s Miguel Angel Asturias National Literature Prize for lifetime achievement in 2014. He has translated 16 titles himself and his books are often translated into multiple languages. Set to release on January 30, 2024, José Feeds the World tells the true story of José Andrés, an award-winning chef, food activist, and founder of World Central Kitchen, a disaster-relief organization that uses the power of food to nourish communities after catastrophe strikes.
