Baker & Taylor is committed to our library partners as they work through the reopening process post COVID-19

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 20, 2020 - To Our Valued Library Partners,

Baker & Taylor is committed to our library partners as we collectively begin to recover from the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic. As many states and counties begin to relax stay-at-home orders and are laying out plans for reopening some community services and businesses, we are ready to support your library.

To ensure we meet your individual library needs, we will not be making statewide changes to stop-ship orders currently in place. If you have already contacted us to resume shipments, there is no need to do anything further. If your library is ready to resume receiving shipments, please notify us at customer.service@baker-taylor.com. We will not resume shipping to libraries currently on a stop-ship status until you contact us.

Baker & Taylor's service centers have remained open throughout this pandemic and continue to operate. Procedures are in place across our facilities to ensure the health and safety of our team members including enhanced cleaning practices, use of masks and gloves, restricting company travel, using work from home solutions and social distancing practices. Due to these measures, you may experience some delays or interruptions in delivery. We are making every effort to expedite our shipments and get all orders processed and shipped as quickly as possible.

We are committed to supporting our customers during this fluid situation. Please continue to reach out so we can best support your library's specific needs.

Sending you good health,
Aman Kochar
Executive Vice President & GM, Baker & Taylor
